(I don't want to limit the size at all). Would: with limit 0 under the poll line be correct? No its not.... I also tried to add a line...

I set the smartd.conf settings to:

Code: Select all

/dev/hda -H -m myemail@adress.de
Hopefully it will never send an email :-)

Hi, so... I tried :-) Good thing: - the webinterface shows the correct date / time for the emails I copied to the Bubba Dovecot IMAP Server, - it works ... But I got the impression, that its a bit slower compared to Iloha Mail. Unfortunately neither Iloha Mail nor Squirrelmail knows about the junkma...

Other email webinterface?

Hi, did anyone try to install a different webmail interface instead of Ilohamail? Why do I ask - I had a look at it and found a problem: http://excito.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1185#1185 When I visited the ilohamail webpage, the project seems a bit inactive and the website itself is full of spam (in...

Hi Per,
how did you install it? I downloaded the .deb package, but run in several dependencies. Did you manually correct them? Or did you add another source to the sources list?

the tool you are looking for is called DenyHosts: http://denyhosts.sourceforge.net/ Hi Jin, did you try to run this on your bubba? How is the performance? I run it on a virtual host. It might be a bit to heavy? Regarding the idea of non standard ports: You might also just change the port forwarding...

Re: Testing the mailserver, spamassasin worth a try?

I just tested a bit the Bubba's mailserver. I happen to have a POP3 mail account with over 17.000 Mails (since March 2005, 220 MB heavy, mostly spam). I threw Bubba on it yesterday :) All mails were transferred successfully. It took about 15 hours though, with a few torrents running "in the backgro...

I think this is much about load and most importantly how you use your mysql server. MySQL will easily eat all your memory if you have large databases and a lot of access to them. Mhm, lets see: I think about installing a Wiki (for mainly my own usage) and maybe a SyncML Server, an IMAP accounts, FT...

understanding the power of bubba

Hi, I have a virtual debian server running at my internet provider, maintaining it with virtualmin. The Server has 128MB RAM guaranteed, however I hit the limit quite often, just with Apache, MySQL, PHP4, Dovecot, FTP and the virtualmin package... Now I learnt from their developers, that 128MB is a ...
