Re: Upgrade from RAID-enabled squeeze to stretch
If you altered u-boot settings when enabling full raid on your b3 this is expected, as u-boot tells the kernel to look for RAID array which doesn't exist. You need to do a manual install from the rescue system (most of the b2 RAID install wiki still applies) : Boot the rescue system, Create the new ...

Re: Debian stretch (9) image 1.0 released for B3
What version of debian are you running on your b3 ? If jessie, it would be simpler to do an dist-upgrade.

Re: Cryptsetup and the 3.18.27-1 Kernel
I've compiled a new kernel with added crypto modules, I've managed to boot my b3 with so it should work OK, can you validate if it fixes your issue ? You just need to download it at http://repo.excito.org/testing/bubba3-kernel_4.9.88-1_armel.deb and manually install it with dpkg -i bubba3-kernel_4.9...

Re: z-stick aeotec gen5 cant get it working....
It's probably because there are some missing modules in the stretch kernel. I'll take a look.

Re: Debian stretch (9) image 1.0 released for B3
You don't need to upgrade u-boot to use the stretch image, the kernel is patched to support the old version.

Hello,
just remove the image line (you could also remove the general section altogeter but I'll understand if you'll leave wipe at false
). If image si not provided or if the file does not not exists, the installer will exit leaving the rescue system running.

Hello satrap,
The only newer operating system version with the updated excito frontend is the bubbagen build from Gordon.

Re: Debian stretch (9) image 1.0 released for B3
Hello, The button is still handled by bubba-buttond in the stretch image (it's a GPIO key event). The 2 seconds timeout should still be active and triggers the shutdown through a /sbin/shutdown -h now command. All sources along with systemd unit files are in the b3-utils repository. I will do a quic...

Re: Debian stretch (9) image 1.0 released for B3
Thanks for the info Puma, I don't have WiFi B3 at home anymore so I didn't see that. Note that it only applies to the wifi interfaces, wired lan and wan interfaces remains eth0 and eth1.

Re: Original Bubba OS support abandoned?
We did some cleanup in the DNS, the right address is b3.update.excito.org. AFAIK update.excito.org is not used in the legacy image.

Re: Debian stretch (9) image 1.0 released for B3
Just did a few tests with the image changing the size value and everything seems to work fine. Can you post the content of your install.ini file (remove empty/comment lines) ?

Re: Debian stretch (9) image 1.0 released for B3
I've noticed today that if you've upgraded from jessie to stretch with the easyfind-client installed, the easyfind functionnality broke. I've released new version of excito-release and easyfind-client which fixed the issue. Please do a usual apt-get update / apt-get upgrade to upgrade these packages.
