Re: Java on B3

That depends on what Java you need. If opendjdk version 6 is fine you can just install it using apt-get:
apt-get install openjdk-6-jre-headless

Re: Excito in bankruptcy

PS It doesn't have to cost $65 for something like an FTP server on a fixed IP to simulate a DNS server. I own my own domain for just €5-6 per year and use a web form to edit server names and IP addresses in my domain. Someone with enough understanding of python and/or perl could simply write a scri...

Re: Can't post

Hi. I can't post to this forum more than a simple "test" string, due to overzealous Forum Autobot Police telling me, "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs." I can tell you this is very much needed. I spend much time taking away spam from this forum. Unfortunately. /...

I don't think that's possible. The packages I've found for Linux are i386 only. But if you find anything useful, please share 8)

Re: Missing config files

Just a quick follow-up: The reason why I looked for the config files was that they are mentioned in the wiki (»Rename the configuration file config_sample_linux.php to config.php« etc.) as well as in my own notes. I guess that this was valid for the previous version of HomeAutomation. Yep. That was...

Re: Missing config files

That's correct, the config files aren't included in the archive. They are created upon installation (which starts when you access the site for the first time). Or if you want to retain your old configuration you could simply copy in your old configuration files.

Hi all. (This post is completely off topic. If some moderator (other than myself) deletes this post I won't be angry. However if someone with higher permissions than me creates an off topic corner in this forum somewhere and moves the post there I'll be happy) I'd just like to notice that the former...

That was my conclusion as well when I saw the bug. Maybe sometimes being on a very old version is a good thing, right :D

Re: Weird USB issue

Wow. Got new power supply today (how's that for service, eh? Mailed Johannes about the problem yesterday and today I've got a packet in my mailbox...). Plugged in and now everything is working like a charm! It now even seems to handle my other usb devices (which I've had various problems with) corre...

Weird USB issue

Hi all. Today I 've suddenly started having problem with my USB devices. Looks like some kind of hardware issue, but I don't really know where. Syslog is flooded with the following: Mar 31 20:30:34 b3 kernel: [ 35.302936] usb 1-1.1: USB disconnect, device number 15 Mar 31 20:30:34 b3 kernel: [ 35.54...

Re: Scheduler in HomeAutomation 3.0

Am I missing something or is it not supported to only use sun controlled triggers? In my case I would like to turn my outside lamps on upon sunset and turn them off again upon sunrise. Edit: After some more fiddeling with this it seems to work if I change the order so the first activation is "turn ...

TelldusCenter 2.1.2 RC1

Hi. Just a little heads-up: TelldusCenter 2.1.2 RC1 has just been released. This is the first version of 2.1.2 that is actually very easy to install on the B3 since it doesn't require any strange dependencies that B3 doesn't have. Just follow the instructions on http://developer.telldus.com/blog/201...
