Update:

This is weird. I have a dyndns registered and port forwarded to bubba. When I am connected on my LAN but use the external dyndns adress to connect to bubba via ftp I do not experience these problems. Wicked if you ask me.

Oh I placed my bubba directly under the roof on my addict which means that it gets outside air ventilation 24/7. Even in the summer this keeps bubba very cool. Fresh air with a constant, quite massive airflow.

FTP-server

Hi,
I experience the ftp-server somewhat unstable. It is slow in initialization and loads the bubba down a lot. Have you considered other options?

Are there any other, better ftp-servers availiable for install?

Thx.
Realized that my HDD never runs higher than 20 degrees C so I don´t need to monitor it.

Any chance you can publish a list of correct parameters or a date when it can be fixed?

I have used it a lot both on Bubba and Bubba|Two and never had any problems. But I trust Carl so I guess I have to start using chgrp instead.

Hi,
reloading the image can take lots of time since Bubba formats the HDD during this process. That means if you have a 1Tb HDD it will take time mate.

Hi Carl, I don´t know if this info helps but it all started with Bubba server. Already on the old Bubba server after one of the later updates the ftp-function was slow as hell in the startup phase. When I got my new Bubba Two the very same behavior appeared. I guess you might have used the same sof...
